ITT and Sustainability
In recent years, new discoveries in the field of sustainability have brought greater awareness and attention to the use of natural resources and the environmental impact of human activity.
ITT has decided to make its contribution to all these issues by implementing a series of measures to reduce waste in terms of natural resources and control emissions.
Our commitment
reduction in water consumption
Thanks to advanced washing machines that consume 1/5 of the water used
chemical management system
For a more conscious use of chemicals: it reduces the use of chemicals and monitors them according to MRSL ZDHC requirements
emission control
All emission points are periodically checked according to AUA guidelines
steam condensate recovery
Allows heat leaving the various machines to be reused and put back into the closed and continuous processing cycle, avoiding the need to use 'new' energy to generate heat
reducing consumption of plastic, paper and cardboard
To reduce and recycle as much as possible
donating fabric to schools
Upon request, the fabric cut for the yarn twist is donated for play-educational activities to nursery and primary schools
