ITT is a company specialising in the dyeing of fine wools and fibres and offering products of excellent quality and absolute reliability.
Founded in 1971 by Paolo Angelico under the name Finissaggio e Tintoria Angelico s.a.s., the company became ITT S.r.l. in 1982 and ITT S.p.A. in 2004.
The current site occupies a historic building in the centre of Biella's textile industry and covers an area of 30,000 square metres, 15,000 of which are covered and reserved for production and warehousing.
The company owns a modern fleet of machines, thanks to the constant investments that have characterised its industrial policy for years, which guarantee great flexibility in production.
The large number of waterways in the area of Biella has allowed the development of companies in the textile sector.
ITT has obtained an authorisation for the diversion and use of public water from two canals of the Oropa stream, with the obligation to return the waste water to the same stream.
Since the 19th century, the various branches of the irrigation ditches have contributed to the development of various activities: as motive power for small and medium-sized enterprises, feeding the public wash house, which is still present even if no longer active.
